Statement of Support

As a director, choreographer. writer, dramaturge, and executive producer JSCTheatricals and Jonathan Cerullo acknowledges and supports the vital work of We See You White American Theatre (WAT) and The Black Theatre United.

We embrace the vision for equity articulated by its Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) theater-makers. We fully endorse the principles and goals expressed in the WAT letter, which align with our own values and goals.

In addition, we support and fully embrace the Stage Directors and Choreographers Union's Anti-Racism Non-Discrimination and Anti Harassment Policies and Resources.

I encourage you to join me in supporting BIPOC activists, artists, businesses, and communities through action, donations, and by educating ourselves about the history of American racism. And always ALWAYS advocate for safe, harassment, bullying, and toxic-free workplaces.

In Solidarity,

Jonathan Stuart Cerullo

How You Can Help the Entertainment Sector.

Broadway may be dark, but today you can be a light for the theater community.

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS launched the COVID-19 Emergency Assistance Fund to help those onstage, backstage, and behind the scenes during and after the coronavirus pandemic.

Through your donation to this special fund, administered by The Actors Fund, you can ensure entertainment professionals get the health care, emergency financial assistance, and counseling they need.

You can also donate through The Actors Fund click on the logo below.

In addition to the support, we give to the arts community I want to offer this from NYS Governor Cuomo.

To help support our First Responders, New York created the First Responders Fund

The fund will assist COVID-19 health care workers and first responders with expenses and costs, including childcare.

The State Department of Health is accepting donations for the fund and received an anchor $10 million contribution from Blackstone. Donations can be made electronically at www.healthresearch.org/donation-form or by check mailed to

"Health Research, Inc.,

150 Broadway, Suite 560,

Menands, NY 12204."

Donors should specify the donation is for "COVID-19 NYS Emergency Response."

Also, you may consider donating to the NYC FDNY:

Donations to the EMS FDNY Help Fund, which fire officials and multiple unions have endorsed,

 can be made here.

And finally, if you want to make a donation to our restaurant workers here is the website for the Restaurant Workers Community Foundation I found you may be interested in.
